Sony Electronics Inc. has an excellent opportunity for an eBook Merchandising Specialist in our Digital Reading Business Division, based in San Jose, CA. In this position, the Merchandising Specialist will assist in the day-to-day eBook content management and merchandising efforts of the store. Tasks include updating titles and publications in the content management system, reporting and status updates, analysis of competition and industry trends, overseeing the creation of web assets, and monitoring customer reviews and feedback.
* Bachelor's degree is required
* 1 year of work experience in publishing-related or web store position
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and build productive internal/external working relationships
* Strong attention to detail
* Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and have strong interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
* Avid reader and a passion of literature a plus
