Data Integration Projects Effort Estimation, Hands on Design, Architecture, Best Practices to build on scalable, extensible very large scale active data warehouse in BI & Analytics as a service environment

Expert Level ELT & ETL Skills to collaborate with other in-house and industry leaders in data integration professionals
*
Proven ability to consolidate, aggregate and package data from heterogeneous data sources in a self-service supporting business users and many presentation layer products
*
Identify, define and document business requirements, including translating business requirements into conceptual technical requirements.
*
Migrating data from legacy systems to ERP systems such as Oracle Financials or SAP
*
Data modeling of relational and dimensional structures as needed to support data integration effort
*
Designing and managing corporate metadata to expose and propagate data assets
*
Act as liaison between business users and Database Services to guide the development, support and enhancement of an active enterprise data warehouse, as well as help solve business problems.
*
Contribute to Data Governance, Data Quality, Completeness and Accuracy
Participate in fast paced Agile Application and Active Data warehouse development, production support teams
*
Data Strategy implementation, Proactive Problem Solving, Anticipate and Incorporate evolving tools, technologies and ETL DW best practices in Data Integration practice

7 years hands-on experience as a strong ETL specialist specific to Oracle as target system.
*
5 years of professional hands-on development experience in Oracle PL/SQL
*
7 years experience with various Data Warehouse solutions and ETL tools such as Informatica
*
3 years of working experience in a mission critical environment (Data Center, 365x24x7), Appliance, ELT and PDO options
*
Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and analytical SQL use manipulating large data sets in real time
*
Experience with tuning and optimizing database performance (Oracle 9i and/or 10G)
*
Ability to converse fluently with Business users and information consumers from Marketing, E-commerce store operations, Accounting & Finance, Media & Entertainment Device Producers, Technology Platform Managers and Information savvy Executives
*
Ability to convey complex technical jargon in clear concise manner when conversing with business users
*
Team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
*
High degree of initiative and the ability to work independently and follow-through on assignments
*
Strong Trouble shooting skills and ability to help guide junior members of the team is a must. Able to work effectively as a member of a team
*
Strong capabilities of performance tuning of Informatica Mappings, sessions and workflows.
*
Knowledge of Hadoop and Bigdata plus.
*
Knowledge of Informatica B2B a plus.
