As a Sales Team Leader, you will act as Leader on Duty (LOD) at all times and are an \"In-Training\" Assistant Sales Leader.\n\nA Sales Team Leader is responsible for being the LOD, driving for results through sales and maintaining a focus on customer service. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting the Store Sales Leader or Assistant Sales Leader with the following: completing shift responsibilities before entering the sales floor; executing the sales strategy through daily huddles; teambuilding through communication, motivation, and encouragement; providing coaching and \"in the moment\" feedback to other associates for their continued growth and development; and problem solving. The Sales Team Leader must also help to communicate store results to employees for better understanding of opportunities for operational improvement; act as an additional sales person when needed; and must continually improve their product knowledge through Sony's on-line training program. Additional duties may be required upon request from management.\n\n* Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or the equivalent\n* A minimum of two years of previous retail experience plus a minimum of one year of lead responsibilities with a peer group, preferably in assistant store management in a retail environment is required\n* Consumer electronics retail experience is preferred\n* Must be a results-driven, team player with a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills\n* Must be able to stand/walk for extended period of times, climb a ladder (up to 20 feet), and lift 50 pounds, all with or without reasonable accommodation\n* The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends is a must\nSony Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values employees with a broad cross-cultural perspective.
