Sr. Manager, Creative Services

Job Summary:The Sony Network Entertainment Sr. Manager, Creative Services will be responsible for the account management team (6 direct reports) supporting digital content distribution across a variety of devices: PS3, PSP, Bravia TV, & Mobile. The Creative Services department works as an internal agency to support content operations and marketing clients within Sony, together with support of operations and marketing teams at external movie studios and television networks.

The Creative Services accounts team currently manages creative services for content operations (TV/Film) across US, CA, EU, JP, and is expanding globally. The team has over 50 studio partner relationships, publishing thousands of titles per month. The Sr. Manager is responsible for overseeing all artwork development for both operations and marketing campaigns. On the operations side, the Sr. Manager should seek out for efficiencies and new technologies to improve departmental throughput. They will also be responsible for working with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, including designers, engineers, content operations, and encoding teams. Finally, the Sr. Manager is responsible for driving new revenue streams, including avatars, themes, and ad-supported content.

Responsibilities:

Staff Management - lead and mentor Creative Services account management team
*
Partner Management - maintain and develop relationships with studios & networks, as well as internal marketing teams to enrich creative partnerships.

Project Management - coordinate production, design & product planning tasks, including tracking design workloads and schedules.
*
Senior Management - provide departmental updates and correspondence, summary reports and presentations to senior management.
*
Marketing Management - supervise production and design on marketing related initiatives.
*
Analytics/Tracking - track efforts and throughput on art thumbnails, themes, collections, and promotional campaigns.
*
Process improvement - manage and improve all asset approvals, deliveries, etc. through existing proprietary tracking/publishing tools.

Revenue Generation - drive new revenue sources through recoupment, ads, themes, avatars

INDUSTRY:
* Preferably experience in advertising, digital media, or interactive entertainment
*
EXPERIENCE:
* 8-10 years professional services or digital entertainment, preferably with an interactive service agency
* Experience with agency-client relationships, project management, and account management
* Experience managing international teams and clients
*
EDUCATION:
* Bachelors degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
