Sony’s Sales Team is responsible for ensuring our retail partner store teams have all the tools they need to make every customer interaction in their stores memorable and fun. 

We have an immediate opening in the South Atlanta, GA area for a Retail Sales Supervisor. The Sales Supervisor is responsible for executing Sony retail strategies and action plans in their assigned territory to fully leverage the Sony Brand. The right candidate for this role is innovative, challenges the status quo, instills passion in everyone he or she meets, and most of all, is dedicated to providing great customer service. This is a work from home opportunity but the Sales Supervisor is expected to visit retail partners within their territory daily and travel outside their territory for meetings, etc., approximately 20% of the time.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
* Manage and achieve your sell-out budget
* Train retail partner employees on: Sony product features and benefits, effective merchandising and selling techniques, best practices and how to build relationships
* Select, train, develop and manage performance of third party sales specialists
* Support retail sales through creative merchandising presentation, visual displays and in store promotions
* Deploy new product launch materials and implement and troubleshoot visual merchandising
* Directly assist consumers as needed by answering their questions and providing solutions
* Build and cultivate relationships with store managers and other store personnel
* Gather, summarize and report out on field and channel feedback and insights

* Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is required
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of retail related experience working directly in a retail store or with a retail partner
* Previous experience leading or overseeing other employees with demonstrated ability in coaching and developing is required
* Must have a thorough understanding of consumer electronics with the ability to teach and pass on consumer electronics knowledge to others
* Demonstrated understanding of and experience with executing and maintaining visual merchandising displays in a retail sales environment is required
* Must be customer centric focused with the ability to motivate, influence and promote Sony products to consumers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships
* Must be able to represent Sony’s interests and successfully negotiate with District and store personnel
* Strong decision making skills with the ability to solve problems creatively and with the resources available is required
* Must have an understanding of upstream and downstream impacts and actions on the business, vendors, and retailers
* Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities is required
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to match retail store hours
* Experience using social media for business related communications preferred
* Daily travel to retailers in assigned territory is required
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Powerpoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Residence must be in the geographic territory/zone you are applying for

The Quality Control Manager will coordinate activities for the Quality Control area and provide guidance to the necessary support personnel working in the area on a day-to-day basis. Responsible for planning and administering activities and/or procedures of the department to ensure that safety, quality, productivity, and manpower requirements are satisfied at the most efficient and economical level.  The Quality Control Manager must follow and administer the company policies and guidelines for safety, ISO, quality, and general administration, coordinate the company ISO program, and participate in departmental and division planning. In addition, will be responsible for all evaluation testing, coordinating, directing, and managing quality engineering projects and activities and participating in special projects.

The Quality Control Manager must evaluate, validate, and qualify new manufacturing equipment, process changes, and product changes. In addition, is responsible for implementing quality monitoring systems that will aid troubleshooting and expedite feedback to production to improve the production process.

* B.S. in Chemistry w/ emphasis in Organic Chemistry
* Must have a minimum of 5 years related experience, including supervisory experience
* Must have a thorough knowledge of statistical concepts and higher conceptual mathematics
* Must have a good working knowledge of test design and evaluation techniques
* Experience utilizing and calibrating all types of Chemical Laboratory Analytical Equipment is required
* Experience performing Laboratory Tests for New Products Introduction and Process Improvements is required
* Having the technical ability to understand manufacturing and testing systems when explained from multiple points of view is preferred
* Must have a good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and lead teams
* Must have good technical writing abilities and good written communication
* Must have a high degree of motivation and be able to impart his/her motivational level to others
* Must have good oral communication skills for one-on-one and presentations
